"Doe Maar the Musical" is a 2007 Music movie directed by Henny Vrienten and starring by Lenette van Dongen, Kim-Lian van der Meij. Doe Maar was a Dutch ska band with punk and reggae influences. Their career ran from 1978 to 1984 and they were one of the most successful pop bands in Dutch history. Doe Maar translates as Go Ahead or Just do it, a phrase mostly used in a deprecatory, sulky manner. Doe Maar De Popmusical, is a Dutch musical produced by V&V Entertainment. It premièred on 28-01-2007 in Tilburg. The show on 11-18-2007 (Theater Castellum) was recorded and aired on 01-01-2008.
